Yacine Diop to Play for Senegal in FIBA AfroBasket
It marks the second straight summer that she will compete internationally as she played for Senegal in last year’s FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup. She helped lead the Senegalese team to a 70-69 win over Latvia with 13 points and seven rebounds.Diop is entering her second year with the Cardinals after suffering a season-ending knee injury just four games into last season.
