According to a majority of reports doing the rounds, Samsung will announce the phones on February 20, ahead of MWC 2019. In fact, rumours, leaks and reports on the Galaxy S10 trio have been pouring in everyday, which can make it difficult for consumers to keep a track of. To help you out, we have decided to do a roundup of everything that is known about the Galaxy S10-series and we will update this page when a new report comes in.Update January 10: Samsung has confirmed its Unpacked event for February 20 where it will launch the rumoured Galaxy S10, S10 Lite and S10+. The company may also use the Unpacked stage to unveil its foldable Galaxy Fold smartphone.Update January 9: The Galaxy S10 Lite was spotted on Geekbench running a Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone should get additional memory variants as well. The listing also mentioned the phone running Android 9 Pie.On Thursday, tipster Evan Blass posted a live image of the regular Galaxy S10, codenamed Beyond 1. The image reveals the phone’s Infinity-O punch hole display with a circular cutout on the top right corner for the selfie camera. It also reveals that the chin bezel will be slightly thicker than the top bezel. In the same thread where Blass leaked the latest live image, he adds that the Galaxy S10 will come with a reverse wireless charging feature that will charge other compatible devices and watches, similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.advertisementA few hours later, another tipster who goes by Ice Universe posted an image showing transparent back covers of the Galaxy S10, S10 Lite and S10+ along their screen sizes and battery capacity. The Lite model will house a 3,100mAh battery, while the regular Galaxy S10 will get a 3,500mAh capacity and the Plus-sized version will house a large 4,000mAh battery like last year’s Galaxy Note 9.What we know so farThe Galaxy S10 will be the middle model and is expected to sport a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy S10+ are said to come with 5.8-inch and 6.4-inch AMOLED Infinity-O displays, respectively. Moreover, the Lite model will also be the only one among the three to get a flat AMOLED display. The other two models will get typical dual curved edges.Additionally, while the Galaxy S10 Lite and the regular S10 are expected to come with a single front camera, the Plus model is said to come with dual front-facing cameras, so we expect to see a pill-shaped cutout on the display to accommodate two sensors. The Galaxy S10, S10 Lite and S10 Plus should get the latest Exynos 9820 or Snapdragon 855 chipset depending on the market. They are all rumoured to come with One UI based on Android Pie out-of-the-box and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The Galaxy S10 Lite will also be the only phone among the three to offer a side fingerprint sensor rather than an ultrasonic in-display one.Apart from the size of the displays, the Galaxy S10 trio are also expected to differ with regards to the number of cameras. The Galaxy S10 Lite is rumoured to come with dual rear cameras and a single front-facing camera. The regular Galaxy S10 is said to come with triple rear cameras and a single selfie cameras. Lastly, the Galaxy S10+ may get a quad camera system on the back and dual front-facing cameras.Samsung may not be going with gradient colours for the Galaxy S10 phones like it did with the Galaxy A9 (2018). Instead, tipster Ice Universe claims the phones will have “gorgeous and lustrous” solid colours, hinting that one of them could be an Emerald Green colour.Samsung Galaxy S10 expected priceAs of a report in December, the tentative pricing of the Galaxy S10 Lite is said to be 699 pounds (approx Rs 63,000). Meanwhile, the Galaxy S10 with 128GB of internal storage will cost 799 pounds while the 512GB model will be priced at 999 pounds (approx Rs 90,000). Lastly, we have the Galaxy S10+ which is said to start at 899 pounds (approx Rs 81,000) for the 128GB variant.
