Jack White To Release A Children’s Book Based Off The White Stripes’ “We’re Going To Be Friends”
White Stripes’ guitarist Jack White will be releasing a book later this year via Third Man Books called We’re Going To Be Friends. With the help of illustrator Elinor Blake (who is also a musician, better known as April March, whose song “Chick Habit” was featured in Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof), White has reimagined the White Stripes’ classic song “We’re Going To Be Friends,” which follows the innocent childhood friendship between the singer and a girl classmate named Suzy Lee, into a children’s book.Watch Nas And Jack White’s Modern Take On A 1920’s Blues SongJack White Personally Restored A Couch That Bob Dylan & Johnny Cash Once Sat OnWe’re Going To Be Friends will be released on November 7th, though the book is available for pre-order here now.
