first_img Press Association Eddie Howe has revealed that Bournemouth’s Harry Arter is nearing a return to the first team. “There are no guarantees until (Arter) is back playing, but we are hopeful that he is now through the worst of his problems and is on the road to recovery,” Howe said. “But it will take him a while. Those were his first steps and that is why we included him in our 25-man squad because we believe he can be fit. “He hasn’t really done anything up to this point so, when you consider a lot of our players has a six-week pre-season, Harry is now starting afresh. “I would like to think he will be fit enough to play within a month, but I don’t want to put too much more pressure on him that that. “He is such a big player for us.” center_img The midfielder, so crucial to Bournemouth winning the 2015 Championship title that he was named the fans’ Player of the Year, is yet to play this season after suffering injuries to his hip and groin. His condition also meant he missed out on pre-season, but Howe has named him in his 25-man Premier League squad and is optimistic about his return now that he is again training. last_img read more

League average for position players is 100, and every point above 100 is a percentage point above league average. For example, a 125 wRC+ means a player created 25% more runs than a league average hitter would have in the same number of plate appearances. Similarly, every point below 100 is a percentage point below league average, so a 80 wRC+ means a player created 20% fewer runs than league average.” For more on the stat, click here. With only two afternoon games, it’s a fairly large Thursday main MLB DFS slate tonight. As a result, our SP rankings are deeper than usual for a Thursday, and there are some surprising value sleepers on both FanDuel and DraftKings. Our top five are particularly solid, though all cost a premium. If you’re looking to pay down, Marcus Stroman (@ Orioles) and Jack Flaherty (@ Mets) both have high upsides and fair prices, and Ryan Yarbrough (vs. Angels) is a boom-or-bust option at an affordable price who works well in GPPs. Erick Fedde (vs. D-backs) has a relatively low ceiling, but with his rock-bottom price, he’s not a bad option, especially as an SP2 on DraftKings.last_img read more
